The last 3yr I have had Merrell Continuum boot it has the best sole configeration that really worked the best I have ever had in the ICE conditions we have here in Alaska. Could not find them anymore went to Merrell web and this Whiteout was the best I could determine would replace them NOT! this boot is not any good on hard snow or ice conditions they totally SKATE no grip Ok on fresh stuff Too bad Merrell Continuum sole with wide trac that it has is not carried forward by Merrell.
